Rockdale Water Resources (RWR) is proud to announce its 9th consecutive Platinum Award for 100% compliance, with no violations, as it relates to drinking water standards established by the Safe Drinking Water Act. The crown jewel of the RWR, The Gees Mill Water Treatment Plant, achieved the highest award a water system can achieve. Along with the Platinum award, RWR received the Water Fluoridation Quality Award from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which speaks to Rockdale County’s commitment to providing the best drinking water in the State of Georgia.
